Workshop on the Financing of the Cross Border Mobility of Higher Education Students and Researchers
Papers, theoretical, empirical and policy oriented, are actively solicited on issues like: - Does the mobility of students contribute to generate higher wages? - Does that mobility generate efficiency gains in the EU Single market for graduates? - Do such gains justify public intervention and funding? - How to finance cross border mobility of students? - Which level of power is the most appropriate for that responsibility? - What about an EU-wide system of contingent loans and Bhagwati Tax? - How to finance research efficiently in order to achieve Lisbon objectives? - Which research is to be financed at sub-national, national or EU-wide level?
