Ukrainian abstract:Цей розділ присвячено виявленню системних рис у воєнно-політичних умовах і обставинах, в яких зароджувався і відбувався сучасний конфлікт на території України впродовж 2012-2018 років. Дослідження засновано на результатах кількох науково-дослідних робіт з моніторингу відкритих інформаційних джерел та аналізу воєнно-політичної обстановки (ВПО) в регіоні довкола України. Під час дослідження автори намагались спостерігати події конфлікту з точки зору зовнішнього спостерігача, щоб уникнути помилок, пов’язаних з викривленням дійсності під завісою інформаційно-психологічної боротьби. Обмежений обсяг монографії теж міг вплинути на викладення, але, надіємось, не визначально.English abstract:This section is devoted to identifying systemic features in the military-political conditions and circumstances in which the current conflict in Ukraine originated and took place during 2012-2018. The research is based on the results of several research works on monitoring open information sources and analysis of the military-political situation in the region around Ukraine. During the study, the authors tried to observe the events of the conflict from the view-point of an external observer to avoid errors associated with the distortion of reality under the curtain of information and psychological struggle. The limited scope of the paper could also have influenced the presentation, but hopefully insignificant
