A CHRONOLOGICAL RECORD OF PROBLEMS OF UNIONIZATION AND UNION FUNCTIONING IN ASIA

Eighteenth century witnessed the industrial revolution, which paved the way to change the human society from agrarian to industrialized society. It not only changed the scale and methods but the whole pattern of the manufacturing. Big factories replaced individual handicrafts wherein workers were owner of their tools. In these factories thousands of goods were produced for the satisfactions of Human wants. Human race first time came across machine made goods cheap in price fine in quality and abundant in quantity. These factories started employing large numbers of workers and some had thousand of workers. This industrialization was the most forceful process in the known history that not only changed the human attitude towards good or bad but also liberated people from poverty (Khan, 1992).
