Analysis of Learning Independence in the Field of Economic Studies

This study aims to describe the independence of Package C Students in the learning process with the help of the internet related to the Challenges of Education in the 21st Century, in class 10 PKBM Berlian Cirebon. This research approach is a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The subjects of this study were 42 students of PKBM Berlian Cirebon Package C. Data collection is done by observation technique. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, present data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that the independence of Package C students consisted of self-confidence, entrepreneurship, respect, competition to progress, responsibility and the ability to make decisions. Independence that is in the good category is confident, able to work alone, respects time, has the desire to compete to get ahead. While the pretty good category is responsible and able to make decisions. Development of independence in Package C students can be done by developing a democratic teaching and learning process, encouraging children to actively participate in decision making, giving children the freedom to explore the environment, encouraging Package C students to feel curious, not discriminating between one child and another. other
