Investigation of multiple scattering contributions to the depolarization of light scattered by xenon and carbon dioxide in the critical region
With reference to the experimental data given in paper I of this series, we now present the results of numerical calculations on the depolarization factor in the critical region of fluids. Attenuation, Ornstein-Zernike effects and contributions from depolarized triple and polarized double scattering have been taken into account.
