The Effect of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Teacher Performance

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires with a sample of 100 respondents who were high school and vocational high school teachers. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research data processing shows that the two independent variables are able to explain and have a relationship with the dependent variable with an R Square of 0.579, which means that the variables of work motivation and work discipline affect teacher performance by 57.9%, while 42.1% is influenced by variables other. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that work motivation and work discipline have an effect either partially or simultaneously on teacher performance
