A KKR-approach to the calculation of the electronic structure for an edge dislocation

In this paper a Green function formalism is presented to determine the influence on the density of states around an edge dislocation. The deformation of the environment is taken into account and no semi-empirical parameters enter into the theory. It is shown that the approximations made have little influence on the results.
