Methodology of selecting tests applied during passing of GRO standards in Russia

The paper deals with the analysis of the methodology of selecting tests applied during passing of standards of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (TRP) to participate in the passing of GTO standards by Russian students 16-18 years. During the experiment, the optimal test was chosen that would facilitate the most successful performance of the GTO complex's tests on the gold silver or bronze medal. We made the conclusion that our technique can be applied for evaluation of reserve capacities and physical preparedness of Russian students
